Adapt
The first and only self-optimizing whole-home Wi-Fi technology delivers powerful and reliable connectivity in every room, on every device even in the most complex of environments.
Plume pods monitor all connections on the network and sends that information to the Plume cloud. Plume's Optimizer interprets the data received, applies advanced algorithms which are used to schedule optimizations that ensure every pod on the network makes the best connection possible, using the least congested channels. Optimizations are scheduled daily and they can happen on an as needed basis to react to changes in the environment, always ensuring optimal performance is maintained.
Band Steering ensures that whenever possible, capable devices are always connected on the better performing 5 GHz band, while active Client Steering ensure devices are always connected to the pod that will give it the best possible performance.
Access
Access permissions allows the use of a single SSID to be broadcast for both home and guest Wi-Fi access. Up to 30 different passwords can be created for the network, with each capable of having customized local device access and expiry rules.
Content management features can also be set at the device or person level, ensuring every user is only accessing age-appropriate content. Internet access can also be scheduled at the device level, while a quick timeout can be applied to a person or specific device.
Guard
Online Protection protects devices from connecting to known suspicious domains or IP addresses, while Advanced IoT protection monitors smart home device usage patterns and quarantines them from the rest of the network when they stray from their normal behavior.
Adblocking blocks access to known ad servers, making the internet a more enjoyable experience.
Sense
The newest Plume feature set, Sense turns wireless networks into home monitoring systems that are controlled through the HomePass app. It uses the customer's already connected Wi-Fi devices as sensors to detect movement, while offering privacy that cameras can't provide.
